1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the WarmBee platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
WarmBee is a medication management platform that connects family caregivers with elderly patients. The Service provides:
- Medicine scheduling and dose tracking
- Emergency SOS alerts with GPS location sharing
- Appointment management and reminders
- Affirmation messages between caregivers and elders
- Medical ID accessible via QR code for first responders
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create a Caregiver account.
4. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate medical information for the safety of the elder
- Do not misuse the Emergency SOS feature
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Ensure the elder has consented to being monitored through the platform
5. Medical Disclaimer
WarmBee is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions. In a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
6. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using WarmBee, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.
7. Limitation of Liability
WarmBee is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for missed doses, delayed alerts, or any health outcomes resulting from use of the platform. The Service is a tool to assist — not replace — human caregiving.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

- Account type (Caregiver or Elder)
Health Information
- Blood type, allergies, medical notes
- Medication names, dosages, and schedules
- Dose history (taken, missed, snoozed)
- Appointment records
Location Data
- GPS coordinates when SOS is triggered
- Background location (if enabled in settings)
Device & Usage Data
- Browser type, device information
- App preferences (dark mode, font size, sound settings)
2. How We Use Your Information
- Medication management: To schedule reminders and track doses
- Emergency alerts: To notify caregivers and share location during SOS
- Medical ID: To display critical health info to first responders via QR code
- Communication: To deliver affirmation messages between caregivers and elders
- Service improvement: To maintain and improve the platform
3. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell your personal data. Your information is shared only with:
- Linked caregivers: Caregivers you've connected with can see your health data, medication status, and location during emergencies
- First responders: Only via the Medical ID QR code (name, blood type, allergies, emergency contacts)
4. Data Security
We use password hashing, CSRF protection, session management, and HTTPS encryption to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure — use strong passwords and enable 2FA.
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Dose history is kept for tracking purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
6. Your Rights
- Access: View all data we hold about you
- Correction: Update inaccurate information via your profile
- Deletion: Request account and data deletion
- Withdraw consent: Disable location sharing or unlink accounts at any time
7. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage to save your preferences (theme, font size, sound settings). We use session cookies for authentication. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
8. Children's Privacy
WarmBee is designed for adult caregivers and elderly patients. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes through the platform.
